SOUNDTRACK LIVE: THE BLUES BROTHERS IS A LIVE MUSIC AND INTERACTIVE THEATRICAL SHOW SYNCED PERFECTLY TO THE ENTIRE 1980 FILM DIRECTED BY JOHN LANDIS
You’ll experience The Blues Brothers like never before: an interactive live musical performance perfectly synced to the film. Liken it to the LA Phil’s "Movie Nights" at the Bowl, where the orchestra and vocalists perform alongside the movie. At The Bourbon Room, it’ll feel like an intimate bluesy and soulful Rocky Horror midnight showing - with horns blowing, drinks in hand, fun costumes, old-school dancing and more!
The Rumproller All-Stars’ 11-piece band will bring to life the classic soundtrack of soul, R&B and blues songs from this definitive musical comedy. While we watch the movie together, the band will play the soundtrack live and encourage the audience to sing along, get up and dance, show off their costumes and join in with Jake and Elwood on their “Mission from God."

ABOUT THE MOVIE
"The Blues Brothers" is a beloved 1980 American musical comedy directed by John Landisstarring John Belushi as "Joliet" Jake Blues & Dan Aykroyd as his brother Elwood. The characters were developed from the popular recurring musical sketch "The Blues Brothers" on SNL in 1976. The film is set in and around Chicago, and features musical performances by iconic R&B, Soul, and Blues singers James Brown, Cab Calloway, Aretha Franklin, Ray Charles, andJohn Lee Hooker.
In 2020, The Blues Brothers was selected for preservation in the United States National Film Registry by the Library of Congress as being "culturally, historically or aesthetically significant.”
